How does Resellio calculate my profit?

The honest way: sale price − platform fee − shipping you paid − what the item cost you = true profit. The platform fee comes from your fee table (Settings → Platform fee table), which starts with the published rates as of 2026-10-16 for eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Depop, Whatnot, Vinted, and Etsy. Rates drift over time — the table is yours to edit, and on any single sale you can override the fee and your profit recalculates instantly.

Profit figures are estimates based on your fee table. A marketplace can adjust a fee on a specific order; when one does, override that sale's fee and everything downstream stays true.

Adding and selling items

Tap Add Item, snap a photo, enter what you paid and where you'll list it. When it sells, open the item and tap Mark as sold — pick the platform, the sale price, and what shipping cost you, and watch the real profit appear before you save. Sold the price down or the fee looks off? Edit the sale anytime.

Items sitting 45+ days get an aging flag; at 90+ days Resellio calls them out on your home screen. Dead stock is frozen cash — reprice, relist, or bundle it.

Importing and exporting (CSV)

Moving from a spreadsheet? On the Inventory page, download the template, fill it in, and import — items land with their costs, platforms, and sale history intact. Export does the reverse: your full inventory as a CSV, anytime. Your data is yours; there's no lock-in.

The tax summary on Insights

Insights groups your year into Schedule-C-style categories — gross sales, platform fees, shipping, cost of goods, mileage, and other expenses — so tax time is a copy-paste instead of a panic. It is an organizer, not tax advice: hand it to a tax professional and file with confidence.

Free vs. Pro

The free Starter plan tracks up to 15 items and 10 expenses a month, with a basic profit dashboard — enough to feel the difference. Resellio Pro ($7.99/month or $49.99/year) removes the limits and unlocks advanced Insights, sorting, and CSV import/export. See the Pricing page for the full comparison. Manage or cancel anytime from Settings → Plan; if you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and your data stays put either way.

Accounts, sync, and guest mode

Without an account, Resellio runs in guest mode: fast and private, but your data lives only on that device. Create a free account (it takes a minute) and your inventory, expenses, and fee table back up and sync between phone and laptop.
